What Is the Raider.IO Score?

Raider.IO is a third-party addon and website that tracks your Mythic+ history and generates a score based on your performance. When you link a character, players can instantly see every dungeon you've completed, at what key level, and whether it was timed. The score is a single number that summarizes your M+ activity for the current season.

How Is the Score Calculated?

Each dungeon has a point value. Completing a dungeon at a higher key adds more points, and timing the key (finishing within the time limit) adds a bonus multiplier. Each dungeon only counts your best timed completion — completing Atal'Dazar at +12 timed replaces your earlier +10 timed run.

There are 8 dungeons in a Mythic+ season. Scoring all 8 at +10 timed (versus only 4 at that level) doubles your point total, so breadth across all dungeons matters enormously.

What Score Do You Need for Good Groups?

In a typical WoW season: 1,000–1,200 is the threshold where most formed groups stop requiring an interview. 1,500 gets you into most Heroic progression groups. 2,000+ is where dedicated M+ guilds recruit and the top seasonal title races begin.

Below 500, even finding a +5 group on Trade Chat is difficult because group leaders filter heavily on IO. This is why many players find that buying a few boosts to build baseline score unlocks an enormous amount of organic content access.

The Fastest Way to Build IO Score

Focus dungeons with the highest base point value first — these rotate each season based on Blizzard's weighting. Push each dungeon progressively: go to +8, then +10, then +12, timing each step before moving higher. Jumping from +5 directly to +15 rarely succeeds and wastes a key.

For most players, the bottleneck isn't skill — it's access. You can't get into a +12 group without a +10 IO, but you can't get the +10 IO without completing +10s. A carry service breaks that loop by taking you through the key levels you can't naturally access yet.

How GG Market Sellers Push Your IO

Our WoW sellers specialize in efficient IO pushes. You choose a target score (e.g., "I want to go from 800 to 1500 this season") and they plan the dungeon order, key levels, and scheduling around your available time. Most IO push bundles complete in 2–4 sessions of about 2 hours each.

All GG Market sellers run at least 2,500+ personal IO and have recorded proof of their clears. You'll see their score, their tier (Silver/Gold/Diamond), and their average completion time before booking.

Maintaining and Protecting Your Score

IO score resets at the start of each season. Save your best runs as screenshots or Warcraft Logs exports — many guilds ask for previous season performance. Some carry services offer end-of-season IO preservation packages that help you hit your highest seasonal score before reset.

Once you have a solid IO, maintain it weekly. The Great Vault rewards are designed to gear you continuously, so staying active keeps your character competitive while the score ticks upward.
